Several months ago, we mentioned in our prayer letter my assistant’s wife having kidney problems. As the busy mother of nine children, Luba always found a reason to put off going to see the doctor. However, this past weekend her condition worsened considerably and last night the pain became severe. Today, her husband brought her to Kyiv and it was discovered that she has three kidney stones. Since that kidney has some other problems, the doctor said breaking the stones is not an option. Tomorrow, she is going to be admitted to the hospital for extensive testing and will most likely undergo surgery. Please pray for Luba to be at peace and for the doctors to do what is best.
