  1. I always enjoy looking through the pictures that you post. Your kids are getting so big–wow! time is sure flying by! I noticed you had some Christmas programs–does Ukraine, as a country, celebrate Christmas? Or is it just the Christian churches that do so? Is it as big of a thing there as it is here in the US?

  2. Dear Wendy (and Yura and boys),

What a joy to see the pictures and videos of your family. It’s almost (but not quite) like being there. How blessed your boys are to be exposed to so many wholesome activities and opportunities. A few years ago when you were here, we had so much fun watching the boys with Yura and my husband wearing The Whole Armour of God and “defending” the faith. I’m sure the older boys are beyond that kind of play now, but maybe the little ones with enjoy it on your next visit.

We are rejoicing in the completion of your first draft of the New Testament! Praise God!

We love you all and keep you in our prayers. God bless you abundantly!

“And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, and in the law, and in the commandments, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart, and prospered.” 2 Chronicles 31:21

    • Dear Gwendolyn,

We are still in a state of delight over Yura’s completion of the first draft of the New Testament. It has been our dream for so long! The team is working ‘full steam ahead’ to get the text ready for publication.

As the hustle and bustle of Christmas fades, we are looking ahead to our trip this spring. Little Matviy is eager to go on an airplane, although his concept of “America” is hazy, at best. The older boys tell him stories of friends in the states and he’s seen the video of the Whole Armor of God at your home. We are all eager to see you soon.

For now, mounds of snow are keeping the boys busy, shoveling and sledding to their heart’s content!

With much love from us all,
      Wendy
