The man we asked you to pray for, Brother Yuri, went to be with the Lord on Monday evening. Earlier in the day, his wife Vera, called us to say that the doctors believed it was ‘just a matter of time’ until Yuri passed away. This forewarning didn’t soften the blow much and we are all grieving with Vera in her loss. Wendy talked to her and Vera said that she knows Yuri is better off in heaven. With his brain damage, life down here would have been agonizing. Yet this young widow is now faced with the overwhelming challenge of caring for her family of four daughters without a husband. The girls must now grow up without a daddy. Please pray for the Comforter to do His work in each of their hearts during these first days of grief, and in the weeks ahead.
